Hand & Upper Limb Therapy
Hand and upper limb rehabilitation is the treatment and management of traumatic/repetitive strain injuries as well as planned surgery to the hand or upper limb.
Lymphoedema Therapy
Lymphoedema Therapy is the management of abnormal swelling in a limb or other part of the body (e.g. abdomen, chest, face). Treatment for lymphoedema is known as Complete decongestive therapy (CDT), which aims at reducing fluid volume.
Breast Cancer Rehabilitation
Breast cancer rehabilitation aims to manage symptoms that occur following chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery; such as pain/discomfort, oedema, scar complications, decreased range of motion and strength, and nerve fallouts.
About Us
OT Zone Inc. is a multi-disciplinary occupational therapy practice based in Roodepoort, Johannesburg. OT Zone Inc. was formed in 2013 by a group of occupational therapists in various fields of clinical practice. We have special interests in helping patients with various hand conditions, lymphoedema, breast cancer and other physical conditions. We pride ourselves in our ability to comprehensively assess our patients and provide the best possible care. We work closely with a team of doctors and specialists to assist patients in achieving their goals.
Meet our Team
The team at OT Zone Inc consists of two occupational therapists and a receptionist.
Each member of our rehabilitation team contributes their own unique experience and expertise to assist patients to achieve their highest level of independence and functioning within various contextual environments.
