Walking For Breast Cancer
The OT Zone Inc Team (Gayle, Maretha and Lee) , took to Melrose Arch on 21 August 2022 to help support The Breast Health Foundation in their “One Step At A Time” event. The 5km walk is aimed at promoting awareness about breast cancer and raising funds for education of the public. For us it symbolizes the journey we take with our patients; the ups and downs that we go through with them.
Who is the Breast Health Foundation?
They are a non-profit organization that aims at educating the public on breast cancer and breast health, creating awareness and empowering women. They have several projects and initiatives, of which the One Step at A Time is one of them. You can read up more about breast health, their organization, their projects and initiatives, as well as how you can help on their website: www.mybreast.org.za
