Amelda Brittion

Amelda graduated as an Occupational Therapist at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2022.

She completed her community service year at Madibeng Sub-district in 2023. Here she had the opportunity to establish and manage the first Occupational Therapy Department within the Sub-district. Additionally, she formed part of the Brits District Hospital therapist team, focussing on both out-patient and in-patient therapy.

In the beginning of 2024 , Amelda joined OT Zone Inc. as a locum. During this period she developed a love for hand therapy and officially became a permanent part of the team in July 2024.

She looks forward to pursuing further certification and courses to enhance her skill set in upperlimb rehabilitation and lymphoedema therapy.
